Journal policy

THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOURNAL:

«Bulletin»  Journal of Sociological and Political Sciences - Publishes current scientific articles in all branches of sociology and political science. Each issue publishes new ideas, breakthrough proposals and views of young researchers on the most relevant issues.
In the issues of the journal, you will find articles by young researchers who analyze the current situation, formulate recommendations on the most pressing issues, and predict further developments in various spheres of politics and public life.

THE MAGAZINE'S MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the journal is to attract scientists, teachers, cultural figures, public and political figures to an open discussion of topical issues of political science and sociology; to support creative initiatives in the field of sociology, politics, theory and practice; to promote the integration of the activities of domestic and foreign scientists and teachers to improve the system of professional education, socio-political relations.

Tasks:
- creation of a wide field for professional communication of domestic and foreign political scientists and sociologists;
- dissemination of information about the latest scientific research of Kazakhstani and foreign scientists in the field of sociology and political science;
- popularization of domestic experience, in order to attract the attention of the international community of sociologists and political scientists, socio-political, etc. to the achievements of Kazakhstani scientists, new political, social technologies and new educational technologies in the field of professional education;
- familiarization with the results of fundamental and applied research on current problems of sociology and political science;
- to promote the high quality of political, sociological and professional education in Kazakhstan, corresponding to the modern international level of training of sociologists and political scientists.

THEMATIC DIRECTION
The main thematic focus of the scientific journal "Sociological and Political Sciences" is the publication of scientific research on topical issues of the current state of all branches of sociology and political science. Each issue publishes new ideas, breakthrough proposals, and the views of researchers, including young researchers, on the most pressing issues.
The following articles are accepted for publication: scientific, analytical, scientific and methodological articles reflecting the results of fundamental and applied research, corresponding to the subject of the journal, as well as review articles with a clear indication of the conceptual position of the author(s).

FREE ACCESS POLICY
The scientific and methodological journal "Sociological and Political Sciences" joins the Budapest initiative "Open Access" and provides free access to the content of the issues of the journal to all readers in accordance with the principle that free access to the results of scientific research contributes to the popularization of domestic experience, attracts the attention of the international community, develops science and education in the global exchange of research.

FREE ACCESS POLICY AND ARCHIVING
The scientific and methodological journal "Sociological and Political Sciences" joins the Budapest initiative "Open Access" and provides free access to the content of the issues of the journal to all readers in accordance with the principle that free access to the results of scientific research contributes to the popularization of domestic experience, attracts the attention of the international community, develops science and education in the global exchange of research.

Readers and authors can get acquainted with electronic versions of the current issue of the journal and archives for previous periods. All publications of the journal in electronic form are distributed free of charge and without restrictions.
BORROWING AND PLAGIARISM
All articles submitted to the editorial board of the journal "Sociological and Political Sciences" are checked in the "Antiplagiat" system (look here: license  171U-500P-MANA-1014-63CE). In case of detection of numerous borrowings, the editorial board acts in accordance with the rules of the International Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE):

- notifies the author (s) of the presence of borrowings;
- receives confirmation of the notification from the author(s) ;
- rejects the article.

PUBLICATION ETHICS
This section (in detail Publication ethics ) is based on the materials of the International Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
The editorial board of the journal " Sociological and Political Sciences " adheres to the international standards of ethics of scientific publications developed and approved by the Committee on Ethics of Scientific Publications (Committee on Publication Ethics - COPE) and takes into account the valuable experience of reputable international journals and publishers.
       The editorial board of the journal does its best to comply with the ethical standards adopted by the international scientific community and to prevent any violations of these standards, both in its own work and in its relations with all participants in the process of scientific publications: authors,reviewers, editors, publishers, distributors and readers.
     Each member of the Editorial Board and each expert-reviewer have an obligation to reveal all and any cases of misconduct or unethical behaviour they come across or find out about and bring them to attention of the editor and publisher. Whoever informs the editor or publisher of unethical behaviour should provide sufficient evidence and facts for an investigation to be initiated. Review or correction of articles, publication of corrections, apologies, refutations with the author is conducted with the editorial board of the journal through the journal's website (for more information, see (INSTRUCTIONS FOR WITHDRAWAL OR CORRECTION OF ARTICLES, PUBLICATION OF CORRECTIONS, APPLICATIONS, DISCLAIMERS). 

 

The journal "Bulletin of KazNPU named after Abaya, the series "Sociological and Political Sciences" with a frequency of 4 times a year in the online (electronic) format is issued in the following deadlines: No. 1 until March 29 of this year, No. 2 - until June 29; the third issue - until September 29 and the fourth issue - until December 29.
