The article deals with the socio-political issues of the "I" and the self, which have not yet been sufficiently studied in the scientific literature. The article discusses in more detail the socio-political aspects of the following issues: "I" in philosophy and psychology; I, loneliness and the crowd; I, selfishness and belittling of the good; differences in understanding the self; definition of the self; sensuality and emotionality in the self and others. The article notes that a lot depends on a person's "I" in his socio-political life, except for the appearance of his "I". A person is a socio–political being who needs both communication with others and solitude. Egoism is clearly manifested when a person compares his rights and obligations. Especially striking when considering the ideological cliches of the countries of the so-called developed democracy is the global company for the protection of "human rights". Human rights are inseparable from duties, when more rights whereupon are more responsibilities. Human rights are inseparable from duties, the more rights, the more responsibilities. The self is the core or center of the personality, manifested both in a conscious and unconscious state and at any level of your socio-political being. The term "self" is comparable to the concept of individuality. At the same time, the article also pays attention to controversial issues.
