Annotation In this article, the authors attempt to conduct a comparative analysis of the political institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Germany at the present stage. As you know, the comparative study of the functioning of political institutions of two or more states at the present stage is one of the newest directions of modern Russian political science. The comparison identifies common and special features in the development of political institutions in Kazakhstan and Germany at the present stage, on the basis of which recommendations and suggestions are given in order to improve the effectiveness of the functioning of political institutions, in particular in Kazakhstan. The methodological and theoretical basis of this article consists of general methodological approaches and principles of scientific objectivity. This research is based mainly on a systematic approach, structural-functional, institutional approaches, concrete historical and comparative analysis, which is the central method of dissertation research. This approach includes the comparison and analysis of specific political institutions, situations, ideas, theories, their comparison, explanation, criticism, as well as generalization of the knowledge gained into the theory and hypothesis of the development of political institutions in Kazakhstan and Germany. The research hypothesis is based on the assumption that political institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan will function more successfully and progressively if their development is constantly compared with the development of political institutions in more developed countries of the modern world, which, in turn, helps to better understand the essence and significance of political institutions, to deeply comprehend the political processes taking place in the country, developing a sustainable and an effective political system.Kazakhstan would benefit from creatively applying Germany’s experience in building a democratic, rule-based state while preserving its national identity.
