In this article, the author describes the concepts of human rights and freedoms in modern politics, including the problems of human rights and democracy in China. They are the highest value achieved in the development of democratic institutions in the country. China's legal system is more than national; it has socialist law. In our study, there was a need to analyze the problem of ensuring fundamental human rights and freedoms, as set out in the PRC and the Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
