Abstract

The article explores the concept of conscious consumption as a new form of social activity, emphasizing its growing importance in the modern world. Conscious consumption involves making deliberate choices to minimize environmental and social impacts, considering sustainability, ethical production, and resource conservation. This trend reflects a shift in consumer behavior driven by increased awareness of global challenges such as climate change, inequality, and the depletion of natural resources. The study examines the role of individuals and communities in promoting conscious consumption practices and their potential to shape market trends and influence policy decisions. The article also analyzes the social, cultural, and economic implications of conscious consumption, highlighting its potential to foster more responsible and sustainable societies. The findings underscore the need for further research on how conscious consumption can evolve into a mainstream societal norm and contribute to the resolution of global issues.
