Abstract
With the formation of a visa-free regime between Kazakhstan and Korea in 2014, the number of Kazakhstani illegal labor immigrants in Korea increased sharply. In addition to the social problems of Kazakhstani illegal labor migrants in the Republic of Korea, the motives and reasons for their illegal employment are considered. The growth of illegal Kazakh workers in the country of the Far East from year to year has become a problem for both countries that needs to be addressed in a timely manner. Formal agreements on legal labor have been established between the two States. The study provides an assessment of how important this arrangement is in the future. The scientific work also touches on a number of issues, such as visa problems of illegal Kazakhstani labor migrants, unstable wages and lack of medical insurance. The research work analyzes social networks, sources of information in the media and interviews with migrants made by heads of state and high-ranking officials. As part of the study of the problem, specialists of the migration center and responsible specialists in the Republic of Korea were interviewed. There were anonymous meetings with Central Asian and Kazakh migrant workers who do not have legal documents and work in Korea.
