The article reveals the influence of trends in the religious space of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the socialization of young people-consumers of religion and the sequence of problems of its further development. In particular, the legislation regulating religious policy in the country was considered in a sociological context, and the connections between ideology and the spiritual image of young people, formed by legal norms, were considered as an integral part of social processes. The study analyzes the evolution of religious policy in Kazakhstan, the processes of religious radicalization and the social consequences of religious practices among young people. The problems of socialization of young people consuming today's religious values ​​were also analyzed from the point of view of the results of the situation on the religious platform in the first two decades of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During this period, a special classification and description of the differences in the religious affiliation of young people was given. This helped to identify why the socialization process in them is slow, and where young people are marginalized. In addition, the main channels of socialization processes were identified, steps were outlined to determine the trajectory of their future development, and potential threats to the state and society were predicted.

The authors propose joint actions by the public and private sectors to facilitate the social integration of religious youth. As a result, it is concluded that maintaining a balance between religious values and secular norms plays an important role in ensuring social harmony and stability.
