Abstract

Gender policy is an important tool for the development of gender equality for any country in the world and Kazakhstan is no exception. The gender policy of Kazakhstan began to emerge in Soviet times and has acquired its own characteristics today. For several years, gender laws have been developed and approved, adopted by the Republic of Kazakhstan during its independence. Family policy is also included in this area: special attention and support is given to families in Kazakhstan.
