Abstract

The article analyses the participation of non-governmental organizations in the development of volunteer movement in Kazakhstan. It is emphasized that among a wide range of NGOs, an important role is played by ethno-cultural associations that are part of the Assembly of Kazakh Nation. On the basis of actual material by the example of RALE «Rada of Ukrainians of Kazakhstan» the directions, kinds, forms and social value of charitable work are shown.
